Here's a good discussion of evidence:

Um... I am confused now. You just linked an article going over more than 29 pieces of evidence for evolution. Is that supposed to help your point or............

I noticed that, and the fact that it links to the very genetic marker info I talked about.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I'm pretty sure the TOE has more than enough evidence just from dna alone to be accepted as beyond reasonable doubt. Versus... Uhhmmm.... God, the Selleys gap filler.
No God, No fear.

The problem is that their supposed pieces of evidence don't meet their own criteria for scientific evidence.
Read the first one, compare it to their definition of evidence, and see if you can spot any problems.

Pull the other one!

It's true. There is absolutely no proper evidence for evolution.
No one in the whole of the science community has noticed though! Dumb fucks.

If evolution threatens creationism, then of course it will make Christians to counter it.
Now, to those Christians who DO ACCEPT evolution- I'm asking: How do you reconcile evolution with the whole concept that God created man in his own image, while evolution says that man is a relative of chimpanzees? Humans reflect His image in so far as we actualize love and reason. It has nothing to do with being a hominid.

The problem with creationists trying to rubbish science is that they wouldn't be achieving what they think they're achieving. If the theory of evolution was demonstrated to be totally wrong, all it would mean is science would be looking for a new sensible, testable model. It doesn't mean science would turn to religion and ask for random explanations involving magic. (Never mind the problem of which religion, and which story.)
Science is not trying to make religion look stupid, it's just that as it discovers more and more, as a side effect certain religious stories look more and more absurd. That's not science's fault. The Catholic church is smart enough to realize that it's better to co-opt science than to fight it. Because science is going to win every time.

And maybe I can help you through your confusions, maybe not.
Thanks!
The problem lies in the time line between now and the genealogies of the Jews that lead back to Adam at best come out to 6k years.
The problem with the genealogies aren't that they equal to six thousand years, the problem lies with the idea that Adam and his children came with in a few weeks of the last day of creation. Nothing in the bible puts a time line between the end of creation and the exodus of man from the garden. Adam and Eve could have only been there a week, but again because their is no time line they could have been in the garden the billions of years needed for evolution to happen.

That ignores the clear teaching that death came through Adam. Evolution depends on death.
