Here's why Creatards might be right
RE: Here's why Creatards might be right
You'd be wrong, I intentionally chose each number in both examples.  There were two designed things, and their designer, staring you in the face and you failed to recognize either of them.  Seems you're not good enough at this to determine whether two short sets of numbers are intentional or designed or random...you might be significantly worse at determining whether or not the universe was designed.

Equipment slightly more effective than your eyes seems to be required.  In the case of both BBT and Modern Synth, such equipment exists and was used to arrive at our current understanding.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Why don't you quote Hawking?

He is every bit as intelligent as Einstein, has a greater understanding of the universe (physics has come a long way since Einstein), and has made just as important discoveries as Einstein.

And he finds no evidence of an intelligent being in the existence of the universe.

"However, if we discover a complete theory, it should in time be understandable by everyone, not just by a few scientists. Then we shall all, philosophers, scientists and just ordinary people, be able to take part in the discussion of the question of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason -- for then we should know the mind of God."

You kidding with that one?  Don't do it....you'll just be proving Esqui completely right in every particular.....

Quote:Hawking now explained: "What I meant by 'we would know the mind of God' is, we would know everything that God would know, if there were a God. Which there isn't. I'm an atheist."

He added: "Religion believes in miracles, but these aren't compatible with science."

So, basically - you found the word "God" and assumed it somehow means, that an atheist's book supports your position? Lol, but /smh at the same time...

Yeah, it's pretty clear that poor old Jen went out and did exactly what was expected of her.  I don't think this is going to be a watershed moment for her, on that count, though.  Meh.

We've officially reached the point where there's no doubt that the entirety of Jen's output is just "whatever needs to be said to reach the conclusion I've already come to at the most surface possible level," and not an actual discussion on any level. It's just lines to a preferred ending.

When children look around - they see magic everywhere. That's because they have very little information about how the world actually works. If you ever bothered to study some of the many things about which you made uninformed but emotionally pleasing opinions, you'd find out that your perception of "organization" and "randomness" is unsubstantiated and very naive.

are you suggesting that Einstein also had very little information about how the world worked ? Einstein developed the  theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of  modern physics . He received the 1921 Nobel Prize for his "services to theoretical physics", in particular his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory.

i think Einstein is smarter than you think you are Smile

Stop, please, you're digging your hole so deep it won't be any fun to piss on you.  I have this compulsion to reach in and help you out - and that means work.

just because i disagree with you doesnt mean im digging any hole for myself neither you or science have it all figured out im just stating the obvious why are you getting so upset ? i believe in God and you dont thats all there is to it . you cant prove there wasnt an intelligent plan concerning evolution and i cant prove my position , but to me and einstein it doesnt seem random at all i dont see anything random about any of it . show me any disorganization with any of it ..

It has nothing to do with you disagreeing with me.  It has everything to do with you being consistently and demonstrably wrong.  Let it sink in.

Quote:i believe in God and you dont thats all there is to it .
There seems to be a fair bit more to it.

Quote:you cant prove there wasnt an intelligent plan concerning evolution
I don't have to.

Quote: and i cant prove my position ,
You -do- have to....or at least you have to try.......or, oh, IDK...stop making the claims you've been making.

Quote: but to me and einstein it doesnt seem random at all i dont see anything random about any of it .
Appeals to authority are not made more compelling by repetition. Since neither you nor I believe that all of this is explained by random "x"...why should I have to provide you with that?

Quote: show me any disorganization with any of it ..
-see above.
