I'm not too worried about the gays exterminating humanity either, but if they did, I would not appreciate it at all!

It is, however, okay to choose not to have a baby even if you're the last woman on earth and/or to choose not to impregnate someone even if you're the last man on earth. It is okay to choose to only have sex with people of your same gender even though it can not directly help stop human extinction. We don't need to be worried about extinction to a point that we are forbidding sex if it cannot result in reproduction. I personally still don't see how extinction would hurt anyone.
