KP: Well, if just I experienced a bunch of weird stuff, no one else saw it, and it left no evidence whatsoever, and didn't happen again... most likely it didn't happen.
If God and Jesus regularly interacted with me and other people at the same time, many times, then I'd believe they were real. I still wouldn't care, it would just be interesting. When I say nothing would change, I mean I'm not going to start worshipping it. So yeah, there is evidence I would accept. It's just not the kind of evidence God seems willing to provide.

Kingpin, atheists can explain anything with super-advanced space aliens from the Multiverse. But the possibility of a powerful and loving supreme being that wants a personal relatipship with his creation is beyond their consideration. Wankers.

Generalisations, misinformation, and an insult in only two lines.

It seems very few people would say they believe in the Christian god for example, but don't worship it. I can only think of a couple of people I've ever heard say that. If I had some amazing experience where god and jesus turned up and did loads of stuff, it wouldn't change anything. I'd be curious to question them of course, if they gave me the chance.
If I would say anything, it would be that someone who got sucked back in wasn't really a sceptic, if they made such a claim in the first place. But that would just be my opinion, I don't presume to be the judge of who objectively is and isn't a sceptic. It must be a sliding scale, really.
See Rob this statement is really a crucial one. I mentioned a while back in an evidence thread, that I truly believe there is no evidence proposed that a modern skeptic could not simply explain away, no matter how profound. If Jesus were to come to you personally in the flesh and perform miracles like raising your dead relative so you can speak with them again, or healing a friend of cancer, I truly believe the modern skeptic would classify it as a mental breakdown, hallucination, or some other natural explanation etc. For some, there is simply no evidence that will suffice because in their mind the existence of God is impossible.
More and more, I don't think it is primarily about reason or evidence for many.

Maybe you should start working on getting something worth considering, first, if you want serious rational minded people to take it in to consideration.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Yes, a "supreme being" using magic is ever so much more plausible than powerful, advanced alien life forms performing amazing activities, all while staying within the bounds of physical processes.
Kinda like how we would appear to Neanderthals with our Androids, planes, video, weapons, and assorted technology.

Super-advanced aliens almost certainly exist. That is something totally consistent with reality as we know it. A supreme being who has glaring flaws even by human standards is logically absurd. The Yahweh character from the OT is not consistent with reality as we know it.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
