Where do Christians get this idea that atheists defend Islam

Which is entirely moot, since any reasonable person knows that some things in life won't happen. One person saying so is nothing but a fart in a Tornado.

Atheists aren't really atheists, we're all devil worshipping, Muslim/pagans who want Islam to take over the world by discrediting the one true god of Christianity and all his saintly followers.

Right, Brenton?

Muslims feeling entitled to go against government law and abide by sharia had happened in Europe and America.

The point that it won't happen is moot, since the original statement was that maybe atheists defend Islam because unlike Christians they don't try to force their laws into our governments. And they don't act entitled.
My point was to disagree with that statement.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

As do many other groups and individuals, not least of all rabid rightwingers. As I said, a fart in a Tornado. But keep it up. I'm sure you get something out of it.

Some atheists are harder on Islam than Christianity, some are harder on Christianity than Islam and some give both an equal focus.

The idea that atheists as a general rule defend Islam is just BS. Although I do believe some PC people, both theists and atheists, avoid criticizing Islam out of fear of being accused of so-called "Islamophobia".

I've never seen even a single one doing so. The only distinction I and many others are making is between Islam and muslim. The same distinctiion I make between christianity and christians and judaism and jews.

It's only that this distinction isn't made in the public at large these days. The formula these days is, Islam equals muslim equals radical. And that's just wrong. That's why I and others come over as more vocal in order to put things in the right order. It's not in defense of Islam, it's against presenting yet another scapegoat. But it is in defense of people, one thing that is most important to me.

So the convo so far is....

Someone says Muslims don't try and force their laws into government and act entitled in anyway.

I disagree and point to the fact they do.

You then say why does it matter these things won't happen.

I disagree then refer back to my previous posts which show Muslims who believe they are entitled to follow their own laws over government laws.

Then you say ok well that does happen but other people do it too so it doesn't matter.

I don't know how many times I can be bothered to explain what the point of my post originally was because you seem intent on continually making straw man arguments against points I'm not making and ignoring the point I am making.

It's sort of like someone saying 1+1 doesn't equal 2
Then when i say actually it does equal 2 you join in by saying hey your argument is moot, 4-2=2 as well you know

In fact, some of these still pictures aren't even advocating for Sharia in France. One of them is simply saying she is both French and Muslim with the statement in French:"What's the problem with that?"

Well I did use three videos and articles from Wikipedia.

My only point was to show that there are indeed Muslims who want to change the man made laws of whatever lands they are in to laws which they believe are divine.

Additionally I don't see how those pictures could be taken in any other context than they want sharia law for France as opposed to laws that already exist in France, il update more evidence on this thread though later that Muslims quite often do want to change laws in countries

They don't seem to get into that much here in the States. Maybe our 'don't put them in ghettoes' policy has something to do with it, or our rabid conservatives have them keeping their heads down.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Actually they said they don't try and force their laws into our government. With your government, YMMV.

I live in an area that's considered by locals to be an Islamic ghetto, but areas like this aren't created by any policy that I know of, its just cheap housing and people usually like to be around people of a similar culture to their own. Lots of other cultures have moved in recently like polish and Romanians.
