Trump is crazy. Even most of the conservatives I know aren't voting for him if he's the Repub Presidential candidate.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Bernie is a "socialist." Remember. You are in 'Murrica.
Feelin' the Bern. I hope Warren would accept a Veep bid, but she's said she's not running for executive office.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I don't understand who all these people are that are voting for Hillary and Trump. Everyone on my facebook and that I have talked to in person or on here about this subject seem to like Bernie and Rubio (or at least not Trump).
If I didn't know about the poll results, I'd think Bernie had it in the bag for sure as far as the Democratic election goes. The Republican I wouldn't know, but I definitely definitely would think Trump was at the very bottom.

Clinton will win the Democratic nomination, no doubt about it, and I don't think there is a Republican in the field who could beat her. I hope she takes on Warren as her running mate, but I wonder if Warren really wants the job. She has considerable influence in Congress and may view the Vice-Presidency as a sort of step down -- at least in the short term. I guess it really comes down to whether Warren harbors Presidential ambitions or not.

Trump doesn't appeal to what you call conservatives, but he appeals to people, who are already afraid and feel themselves strenghtened in their prejudices and fears. And this group is all over the board.
As yet another non-USian, I still hold out faint hope for an Angelina Jolie-Halle Berry ticket.
