I will vote for Sanders, but even if he wins my suspicion is it will not make a lot of difference. At this point the only thing American politics can do is the equivalent of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. The ice burg hit was hours ago, the lower compartments are nearly flooded, and the boat is already listing past the point of no return.
The reality is that the American political system is hopelessly corrupted, ham-strung by an antiquated Constitution, and bankrupted by an out-of-control military. But we Americans abandoned any relationship with reality a long time ago, the crazies took over, and pure lunacy rules. Sanders is not as crazy as some of the others, but he has about as much hope of bailing out this country as Captain Smith had of bailing the North Atlantic out of his ship.
Vote, it is the right thing to do ...
”but do not trust to hope. It has forsaken these lands.” LOTH, The Two Towers
(Silly movie. After all, the last fucking thing we need is the return of a King. But it was okay mythology and this is a good quote.)

If Bernie goes against Trump he absolutely will win. Trump is crazy. Even most of the conservatives I know aren't voting for him if he's the Repub Presidential candidate.
Yes, I've heard there are republicans who are declaring they'll vote for Bernie no matter what. It doesn't come as a surprise if you look at how consistent Bernie has been politically over his whole career, and that he's been an Independent until now, not a Republican or a Democrat and so he's got that over everyone else.

She might reconsider, you never know. It's hard to imagine she wouldn't want to, if things really got going with the voters.

If I didn't know about the poll results, I'd think Bernie had it in the bag for sure as far as the Democratic election goes. The Republican I wouldn't know, but I definitely definitely would think Trump was at the very bottom.
Sheesh, that did amaze me too until I've started to actually believe all the nuts and think the media is bought and paid for. And it's such a scary thought that I still don't fully believe it. Yet what the internet is showing me and what the media are saying is two entirely different things.
What fucking cunts the media are if they are truly doing this. I would never lay my eyes on any of their websites or buy anything related to them again.

Don't underestimate the potential of fearmongering. Trump doesn't appeal to what you call conservatives, but he appeals to people, who are already afraid and feel themselves strenghtened in their prejudices and fears. And this group is all over the board.
Are you kidding me . If Bernie goes against Trump, Trump's so fucked he won't know what hit him.

That explains why I didn't vote in the poll. I'm not wed to either Hillary or Bernie. But I will definitely vote for the one of them that wins the Dem primary.
Yeah, but you'll vote for one of them in the primaries, won't you?

Here are 5 good reasons to vote for trump:
1. Min would become even more entertaining on this site then he already is, although he might have a rage induced heart attack (He is older than dirt)
2. We would have the best stand up comedy and late night comedy of a generation.
3. Hottest first lady and first daughter of all time
4. The people on this site are generally skeptics, but they believe literally anything negative written about Trump with little to no evidence and I think that's funny.
5. The debates between him and Hillary would be hilarious, between him and Bernie Sanders would be even funnier.
I can't fucking wait for Bernie to go against Trump in the finals. I'm so pumped for that, you have no idea.
What if something truly amazing happens and there's a huge turnout and they change the House and Senate too.
Just remember I called it.

What? You guys get to watch that in Romania? (you're from Romania, right?)
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
