I'm not completely caught up in this thread so someone may already have addressed this.  It is important to keep in mind the pay scale all staff here are on.  For the rather excellent quality of the space they create here, most of us are in full support of ban-thrashing anyone who is pointedly rude to the staff.  So while I have a lot of sympathy for how important your sense of fairness must be as a teenager, don't expect to get a lot of support from the hoi polloy if you knowingly pull on their chains.  They really are not being heavy handed as sport.

How to put this politely?  Pengy shut the fuck up.  You are not the arbiter of who gets to be staff or how they do their job.  That belongs exclusively to Tiberius.  The staff we have are excellent and responsible for the excellence of the space in which we converse.  No one -other than you perhaps- think you would be better at it.  If you persist in making our excellent staff regret their decision to serve as staff, there will soon be an upwelling of support from your fellow forum users for having you banned.  

We like the staff we have.  So quit bugging them or bugger off.

I'm not appealing to anything but honesty and am promoting open discussion about anything. I don't think that's a bad thing, and I don't think you do either. So somewhere along the way we got completely off the track.

If the admins want to ban me for being honest about how I see things, they can do so. I won't change who I am to accomodate irrational fears that I'm somehow policing what everyone should think and do on these forums, even though it's the most ridiculous notion in the world since I'm nothing more than a user.
