Then you say.

"That said, I think Atheism ought to be combated and the system that replaces it ought to be love of the best of God's chosen ones by following their guidance and give sanctity to their light in all things."

We should be fought? Why?

The chosen ones are the Prophets and divinely appointed Guides and chosen ladies like Mary and Sarah and Fatima.

As for the rest, I know you knew what I meant, and so yes you should do your utmost to combat religion if you believe none of it is true.  It will help demolish all false religions for sure, if they are all false, they will all fall insh'allah, and if one stands to reason, it will stand insha'allah.

Or you need to consider there is no such thing as a "prophet" in any religion and that they are all human inventions and here is no sky wizard intervening in the lives of humans.

I know Brian37 pointed this out, but it's so blatant I can't let it go!

"I hope society learns to be tolerant" and "atheism ought to be combated ... Replace(d)" do not go together at all! You don't often see hypocrisies so near each other in print like that!

You make what you want out of it. I think Atheism is ignorance of God, and is the position God is not known to humans either through innate knowledge or spirituality or philosophical proofs or any reason for that matter. Do I think society should be left to believe this is true? That there is no reason to believe in God? No.  Even if we go to the personal it's only none belief in God, and doesn't hold the stance that God is not known to others, I think we ought to try to make everyone know God. That said, knowing God and his chosen ones come together.

Do I believe Atheists should be combated? No.

Do I believe Atheists should do the same for religion? Definitely. It will either make them all fall or one will stand on it's own due to it having reasons and proofs.

I know it is unintentional but try not to spread bad memes. Jefferson was not an atheist. He was a Unitarian/deist. He did not see Jesus as a magic/man/god, but did see Jesus as a mere mortal and liked him like Plato and Socrates. If I had been alive to debate him back then knowing what society knows now, I would have told him even his generic deism sucks as an idea, and the NT Jesus character was not the all nice guy people like to paint him  as.

But he did value questioning of faith and blasphemy "Question with boldness even the existence of a god, for if there be one, surely he would pay more homage to reason than to that of blindfolded fear". Thomas Jefferson.

"Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions" Thomas Jefferson.

And while he had a generic god whom he believed started everything but stepped aside after, he certainly thought atheists were capable of being moral, "whence arises the morality of the atheist? It is idle to say, as some do, that no such thing exists." Thomas Jefferson.

"Make everyone know God", MK?

What on earth does that mean? That sounds about as far away from respecting atheists as you can get.

"Atheism" is not a good word, that is one thing I wish atheists would not use. We have no universal "ism". It merely means "off" on god claims, not just your god claim, but all god claims. Out side our light switch being "off" we are diverse. We don't all have the same economic views. We do not have the same political parties. We don't always agree on how to debate religion either.

"make everyone know God"? How? Through force? Do you like it when Christians like Ann Coulter say "we should invade their countries and force them to convert"(meaning Muslim countries and force them to convert to Christianity) Now I know you don't mean it like that, so don't praise it "make everyone know God".

Nobody should want to use force to end any religion, but no, sorry you cant force religion on anyone. The only civil thing humans can do is make the claim, and debate the claim. Outside that, others are free to criticize the claim.

RE: Atheists still the most hated minority
There is already quite a bit of "making people know God", in the form of indoctrination and societal pressure/threats in the world.

It doesn't actually make them know anything, it just makes them think they know something, or forces them to pretend to know something.

But even indoctrination doesn't always work, as many here can attest. What else you have in mind MK, I dread to think. I hope it was just a poorly worded phrase.
