Just awful, awful writing. Awful dialogue. The entire episode was exposition. I'm so upset right now. I want to hit C.C with a rolled up news paper and say "no! No more writing scripts! Bad dog." *sigh*. What a fucking disappointment...

God I hope not. She is okay but he is a cardboard cutout of a person. I feel pretty confident that everyone involved is going to be back for another batch. I'm just not sure if I'm happy about that anymore.

 Alien DNA? Oh a DNA sequence that's strange.... something immediately observable with a simple half an hour test! Of course!! Isolate this special DNA, shove it into saline and inject into everyone - immediate cure!! LOL Aren't there people who can be called doctors who review this before they decide to shoot? Fact check the science, at least cursorily! Oh, at the very end, she thought that stem cells could help... LOL! Opportunistic diseases are kept in check by anti-bodies, produced by while blood cells, which are produced in bone marrow... which would need to be replaced by these stem cells to start producing stuff with the correct DNA.... how long does it take to replace the bone marrow on an adult?.... (I'll go ahead and guess years!) Also.... what the heck?! normal DNA had been producing a decent protection against those bugs for centuries, but, all of a sudden... no can do? I didn't get that part... were the bugs altered and introduced into the wild? Also... I didn't know that immunity to bugs like the cold was a genetic trait... don't those antibodies get passed on through mother's milk and/or get acquired through other environmental exposures? Einstein? what were you doing there?! shouldn't you be working on a case? Even the conspiracy is flawed... What's the purpose of saving a few old people from a global die-off?
