The Parents Have to be able to Answer ALL of the Questions and challenges like the ones I provided and many many more. And what's more they have to find a balance between those who rightfully balance honor and racial tradition like the American Indian or the Black woman I mentioned, yet help their kids find the self worth they need to survive. A Parent can not do this if all the can think about is different color 'sugar.' Or better yet looking to be offended when someone stares a 1/2 second longer than they should.

Because If you as an adult can not answer these questions then what hope does your kid have? Do you really think pouting, and posting a willie wonka youtube video will help a halvie/mixed kid fend off anyone of those people? Do you think he will be able to develop the where with all to come up with a personal philosphy that will allow him to live in a world that demands these answers, and yet some how still maintain his own self worth??? Will he be able to understand the world not only has the right to ask those questions, I will also favor or protect those who do? What does that mean for this kid, if the parents can not help him or her?

I don't know one mixed person that I have ever spoken with who has had any preparation to deal with the demands the world will make on them. Why? Because again interracial couple seldom think of anyone other than themselves, and even then not far enough down the road to help themselves and not have their marriages self destruct let alone give their kids all they need to deal with the world they will have to live in.
Me calling interracial couples selfish is a goad or test to see how they will respond. are they mature enough to meet a challenge or will they run from it or simply lash back? To meet the challenge is to not only turn the other cheek but it is also to phrase a response that allows one to not only preserve the racial identity of the person bring the question, but to reaffirm their choice and their children racial status. This is the only type of person ready for a interracial marriage.
I even demonstrated this when in this thread I myself was in an interracial relationship when I said (I gots me a white woman). Being call selfish means nothing, when you know you are prepared to deal with the challenges you will face together. What's more if a interracial couple is not prepared to deal with all comers in a respectful way no matter how harshly they may come, then they absolutely do not need to be married/they are married for absolutely the wrong reasons, and time will indeed flush them out. Unfortunately in most cases it would seem that this will not happen before they have kids. Kids ill prepared to deal with the world to come. Which again points back to a selfish parent!
So yeah, just keep defending the right of people to not give two thoughts about the future nor the challenges their kids may face, just because it 'feels' like the right thing to do. Because no one should ever question anyone about anything anyone ever does so long as no one gets hurt... well hurt meaning (apparently) blood or broken bones.

I have never said on these forums that the Bible was written by goat herders. You have me mixed up with another atheist. I'm constantly astounded at how confidently and easily people speak for God. I'd have thought that would be the ultimate sin, presuming to know the mind of God. Clearly he has no interest in speaking for himself.
Yet some people have direct access to everything he knows, it seems, and can tell us all his motivations at the drop of a hat. How could they know all this, when they can't even demonstrate they're talking about anything real at all? And how can millions of theists all know different, contradictory things about what is supposed to be the same thing?
