And you would be entirely wrong in that assumption, since what we consider children now was a totally accepted age for marriage back then and far into the Middle Ages. Not only with jews, christians or muslims, but also with Greeks and Romans.

You might do well to actually look up the ages of brides to wealthy families in the Middle Ages. The best documented period for these kinds of practices.
I'm not in favour of child or adolescent sex or marriage, but I would be interested to know from an evolutionary point of view, why it is wrong for biologically able people to engage in sexual activity before the government-approved age. If you have sexual maturity, why is it "wrong" to use it? Doesn't natural selection indicate that sex at 12 or 13 is normal?

Right now it's talking out of the ass, lacking some serious source, but I bite. Might it be discrimination?

I don't know. What I do know is that for whatever reason, it doesn't work. If there was a drug that came with a massive suicide risk, it would be banned immediately. With this suicide rate, why isn't there a ban on gender reassignment surgery?

Well, for starters because we've moved on from the bronze age and no longer sell our children to the highest bidder.

If you live according to God's principles, the proof is to be found in the outworking of your life. It is a form of inductive reasoning, ie you assume something to be true, put it to the test and  then come to a conclusion.

Alright, this should be fun: what should we expect to see in a person's life if they follow your astoundingly hypocritical presupposition that god exists?

Because you just made the beginning of a falsifiable claim here, and I want to see whether you'll flee from that at top speed, or actually present something of value for your position for once.
You would see a changed set of values, ie more of the "fruit of the Spirit" should be evident in your life,

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Gal 5:22

Didn't really answer the question there.

Sure he did. The Jews weren't allowed to have sex outside of marriage and no one in Israel married children.

According to the Babylonian Talmud David knocked up Bathsheba when she was six years old.

The push to raise the age of consent is only about 120 years old.  The age of consent was 7 years old in Delaware in 1895.  There was no lower limit during slavery times, which is one of the reason the slave owners fought so hard to retain slavery.

Full penetration sex with young girls is very damaging physically, especially if they get pregnant because their bodies are not large enough to carry and deliver full-size babies with major damage to themselves.  In addition they are not emotionally developed enough to raise a child when they are still children themselves.

A lot of people try to pass this off as an ancient practice but a number of people you might know had grandmothers who were raped when they were seven years old or younger.

Reference? Not that it really matters though since the Bible indicates that Bathsheba was a married woman who fell pregnant after said "knocking up." I didn't know you could get pregnant at six years old.
