As far as repopulating earth and based on the xtian understanding of DNA I'd say they were a  bunch of onion fuckers.

Actually if God had Frank's voice the song would go....

"Gangster's holding knives, exchanging stab wounds".

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Christians can't even decide if the story is literal or metaphorical. Even after consulting God.

How are we supposed to take any of this seriously?

If I wrote something, and it was meant to be literal, I would tell everyone who asked me that it was literal. I wouldn't tell half the people it was a metaphor. And I wouldn't change my answer as science advanced either.

To be fair, that is what all religions do, even those of Asia and the Orient. When you call out a claim, they move the goal posts, it is also why the religions of Asia and the Orient call it a philosophy, when it is just as much a religion as any other. It allows the follower to cling to the past and still justify old claims even when time and science has passed it by.

In all religions, it is literal until challenged, then the word games are employed in order to adapt so they can stay alive despite the contrary.

All of the major religions are Asian.  This includes Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

I really hate the argument of uniqueness by any religion. The series of COSMOS with Neil deGrasse Tyson, shows even without direct links humans made the same bad guesses independently. Even with no links our species stared up into the skies and made our own deity claim images in the stars. We had independent first human myths and creation myths and flood myths. Our species had independent myths about comets as well.

Actually that would be your fellow atheists, who are in the habit of making ignorant statements and being schooled on a regular basis. Whether the subject is on how bees reproduce, the scientific method, the proper use of the words "except", "possession", and "exactly, what secularism means, and the difference between a servant and slave; all you atheists do is display your ignorance and the sad part is google is right at your fingertips.

As I've stated, all the stories in the bible are telling you about Jesus Christ through symbology, and I've took the time explained at least three different scenarios only to have it go in one ear and out the other.

You're not interested in learning anything (none of you are knowledgeable enough to discuss the bible let alone the above subjects I've mentioned) , you're only interested in creating a circle jerk that will last in perpetuity. You would think that someone who held the belief that an afterlife doesn't exist, would spend his time doing something meaningful, but at some point you just have to leave the ignorant to their ignorance.

So when the 1067th thread pops up about Noah, count me out.

I don't "hold the belief that an afterlife doesn't exist". I simply don't have the belief that it does.

OK, so just to clarify for my sake...
Noah's Flood was symbolic, it didn't actually happen?
