I don't know whether I can take any more. I remember someone posting here some while back about how they went through phases of their feelings towards theists the more of their drivel they were exposed to, culminating in a deep frustration and resentment to the point that they couldn't read any more bullshit.

I'm approaching that point I think, most of the time I simply can't believe that adults can be so gullible and I often feel quite embarrassed for them when I read their comments and how they actually believe 'holy scripture'.

We seem to get some of the more extreme examples on this forum. I don't think they're at all representative of your average theist.

Empty vessels and all that. More reasonable ones with nothing to prove are probably less likely to come to an atheist forum in the first place.

I expect the average theist to be much like me (alright, maybe not me, I'm a weirdo) except they probably got indoctrinated with a load of crap.

The Priests job was to make intercession for the people (through sacrifices and offerings ect.) and had to be without blemish just like the aforementioned lamb, This is to symbolize Jesus in the role of the High Priest who was without sin, interceding on our behalf.

Actually I would say that most of the debates I have on this forum have nothing to do with religion, and in that regard you guys tend to make yourselves look foolish on almost a daily basis.
