Theology. In order to excuse him from responsibility for evil, apologists have placed so many logical constraints and qualifications on God's "omnipotence" that a human might actually stand a chance against the semi-almighty in a fistfight. Certainly doctors blow him away in the healing department.

That is because you are not a true christian.  Tongue

Before any of that business, Jacob forced a draw with god on the road to Canaan and was thus renamed Isreal, "he who struggles with god". So we get an upset here and there against the forces of the divine.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Fair or not, it would be the moral thing to do.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You know, if Christianity were true, the devil would probably kick God's ass.

1. How would not reproducing change a thing? It would just make more. And probably say fine, the next models don't need those unused parts. The next model is asexual. Take in enough nutrients and you poop out the next generation.

2. We would not be having this discussion. The all powerful, all knowing, all everything, would have got it right. I doubt anything would be as it exists today. Imagine an unending state of blissful ignorance where your biggest activity is worship. It covers everything else. We'd exist for it's pleasure only.

3. We, all that exists, would be a fantasy. I don't find that appealing.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

The only realistic way IMHO where God could be real, with all the contradictions as described, would be if we were in a sim or someone's dream.

In which case, I don't give 2 fucks anyway. The sensations of heaven and hell, pain or happiness, are equally illusionary.
Ether way, the theists lose and we are no worse off.
This is probably the most accurate Pascal's wager I can think of.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Well, which of the 70,000+ permutations of Christianity is the true one ? Come on, I'm getting older every day, we need this cleared up ASAP.

Seems like Jesus might have tried a bit harder to be a little less confusing and ambiguous.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
