I guess the difference between us is that your knowledge and wisdom comes from cells which you have no control over and you are a slave to them compared to my knowledge and wisdom coming from a supreme being who lets me choose what I want to do.

Maelstrom, you may look above at my answers.

It speaks volumes that you separated my responses, and shows how freaking dumb you are that you thought each sentence did not somehow connect. It also speaks volumes of one's, meaning your lack of, reading comprehension. How can one of your apparent lower caliber reading comprehension have any means of informing others of biblical interpretation?

And the fact that you cannot properly respond to me merely reinforces your inability to properly reason.

It is as though I am dealing with a child who has been programmed, yet has not been given the freedom to properly reason through the absolute and utter bullshit.

@Thomas

Yep. I'm converted now. Your explanation makes perfect sense: God must punish those who are unwilling to sacrifice themselves in the fight against evil.

It's his only option because it's not as if God is omnipotent and able to act on the logically possible option of making all the good people immune to evil... Oh wait.

(note I suggested that rather than suggesting God just remove all the evil in the world in case you start with the "Evil is the absence of good and good is contingent upon it." nonsense.)

Losty,

It might be thought that the teaching is that some people murdered Jesus and God allowing it was his intervention so that people might learn the value of sacrificing themselves in the fight against evil and that some people are not willing to sacrifice themselves in the fight against evil so God must punish them.

God damn it. You're gonna make me dig through for my favorite salad gif aren't you.

(I also mentioned "logically possible" in case you start with the "Omnipotence only allows God to do logically possible things. Even God can't make square circles)." digression.
