We also have examples of your god killing far more people than Satan.

And in that example of God removing his protection from a person, how did Satan treat him? Satan could have done anything, but what did he choose to do?
Kill his family destroy his wealth, attack his health.

Yeah, and the story of Job tallies up just about all of the deaths caused by Satan in the Bible, whereas your god kills countless millions, either by order or his own hands.
In fact, I think I'd be more insulted if someone compared me to Yahweh. If I were Satan, and I wanted people to think god is evil, I'd probably just try to sell as many Bibles as possible.

Remember, the book is told from Yahweh's perspective too. This is his spin on things, if anything. And he still presents himself as an egotistical mass murderer, and makes Satan seem harmless in comparison.

Let's say you own land. and you want to build a house on 'your land.' Are you so foolish to think that you can just build whatever you want without having to answer to a 'higher power?' in your case that higher power being the zoning commission and code enforcement. (You can not build a house on land that you own unless you have the proper permits from zonning and code enforcement or the government will tear it down.)
Like wise Satan does not have full authority over what he 'owns' He must still (per the story of Job and his own interactions with Christ) must yield to what ever the will of God is.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong, and your explanation comes dangerously close to blaming God for not being more restrictive with his first son, the Devil. God doesn't involve himself in our lives because he cares about our free will. He wants us to make our own choices. He got involved in the past and ended up regretting it, because people then didn't have as much freedom. But the devil simply does what he likes, because he doesn't care.
