LOL, well I mean, you can't come to the table completely empty-handed! At least bring some wine or something. [emoji485][emoji12]

Are you saying "emotionally mature women looking for a serious relationship" put out for a bottle of wine? Or that for a woman to be "in my league", she needs to be a raging alcoholic?

Let's put it this way: a bottle of wine will never count AGAINST you. Unless it's White Zin, ofc. [emoji41]

I'm usually a little handsome after she's had some wine.

Thanks Rob. That put the most wonderful mental image in my head. Especially post vacation pics.

You could be flattened by a stampeding rhino tomorrow, OP. Life is short, fleeting and fragile. An infinite void of eternal darkness and silence is coming for us all, inch by inch, second by second.
Go do online dating and meet people

So, I created a profile and started browsing a dating site today...but, I've already deleted my account.
Made me feel kind of sad and nervous, "shopping" for men and all.
Just not for me, I guess.

Wha?? Get back on there, lady! I can live vicariously through your dating adventures instead!
But on the other hand if it's making you sad and nervous - not a good thing.
When I tried online dating a few years ago, I found looking through all the profiles very time-consuming. And they all start to look alike after awhile.
Likes to travel - check
Looking for someone nice with a good sense of humor - check
Photo with motorcycle or exotic car - check
Is "just as comfortable on a night out as I am with a night in with pizza and a movie" - check
Photo with ex or current wife cropped out - check
Photo with sedated lion or tiger - check
So I'm not there yet with signing back on to a dating website.

That's actually a good idea - there are a ton of Meetup groups in my town, even if you're not specifically looking to meet other singles. I have some great friends but maybe it's time to branch out a bit and meet some new people.
I see the same people all day at my work with few chances to meet new people. But I live in a friendly town so it's not very hard to make new friends, thankfully.
