Here's one only Alex might have some recollection of. Raumpatrouille Orion. Roughly from the same time Star Trek started, but a German version.

And since it made me remember Dietmar Schönherr, here's one of the big Saturday evening shows from the late 60ies, early 70ies. I was allowed to stay up to watch it. It's one of the full shows, but the title theme is in the first 2 minutes.

What's noteworthy about this show was that it was very controversial. It was designed as a game between families from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The particular stations collaborated to produce it. There was a big scandal in 1969 when, for some game, the daughter of one of the participating families, donned a transparent blouse and showed her titties on national tv primetime. Another game I remember, which ended up in making headlines, was getting out of a submerged car. Divers of course were present to prevent drowning, but it made headlines nonetheless.

That show does seem controversial considering that in the first 10 minutes they're playing some strange gloryhole game. :-)
