I had one as well, and mine also got pinched. The one I had was the version - green, I think - with a cradle-thing underneath holding canisters of nuclear waste, and a little magnetic winch. I played with it, while I had it, but I really wanted the white one with the crew pod. Sure, it was only a mini-series, but I always loved this one...
