One of these days I intend to come down to tour the Sonoma wine country, and I certainly would make a stop at Lagunitas. I'm about due for a homecoming - I was born in the area but haven't been back since like the late 1970's, excluding layovers at SFO and business-with-no-pleasure trips.
Cookies. I normally don't like sweets, but I'm eating the Hell out of some white-chocolate macadamia-nut cookies, with decaf coffee doing cleanup duty.
It's healthy because it's a salad.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Daughter and I just finished a bit of cooking. She made espresso chocolate chip shortbread; I made steamed pork buns seasoned with ginger, shallots, garlic, and five spice.
Making shrimp penne.

Leftover chili and cornbread. It's good!

I just spent 4 hours cooking for a couple of parties tomorrow. Party #1 (noon, at work) gets veggie lasagna. The layers, from bottom to top: (ricotta cheese + spinach), (sauteed mushrooms and chunks of roasted garlic), and (broccoli, cauliflower, red pepper, and 3-cheese mixture). Homemade Alfredo sauce and more of the 3-cheese stuff ties it together. Party #2 (9-ish, after a band gig) gets baklava.
Just finished leftovers from last night, with a dessert of two peanut-butter cookies.
