He's toast. He never should have gotten as far as he did, but because of our WWE Jerry Springer Dumb Dynasty 30 second sound bite marketing for decades, and 20 years of Fucks News selling bigotry hate and fear, it allowed that asshole to rise. But he hit that third rail finally. GOP never had a good grasp on minorities, but I think even with swing voting women and women in general, this is too much.
You can blame the media for all the mind rot crap, and there is plenty of it, but there is still plenty of coverage of news media and social media like Twitter and Facebook that are not allowing such vile tactics to go scrutiny free.
I really do not see at this point Trump coming close to either McCain or Romney. Right now all he has is his base in the hateful far right. It is still important for dems to swamp him at the polls to send a message that no politician who pulls his scapegoating tactics has any place in a western civil society.

What's amazing is that Rush is this close to saying something decent. But because he's a monster, he doesn't recognize it, and treats the concept of consent with derision.
Consent is the basis of freedom and liberty, and part of the reason why we fought against the British so many years ago. I mean, what part of "no taxation without representation" don't they get? Or unlimited search and seizure (Writs of Assistance)? Or being forced to quarter soldiers? All of that and more were done without the consent of the colonists, and eventually became the impetus for armed revolt. But, when it comes to the right of a person to do what they want with their own body, it's suddenly a laughable idea?
No, fuck that, and anyone else who thinks along those lines. You're not only dangerous, but anathema to what this country is supposed to stand for.

Let's face it -- an asshole like Limbaugh would seem a natural for harboring a deep resentment on consent. I'm sure even sex dolls would want to charge him.
