Game Over for Trump

RE: Game Over for Trump
The fact that Trump has gone up slightly in the polls tells you all you need to know about the American electorate.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

So, when Trump tries to dismiss it as just locker room banter, I'm legitimately baffled.  Do other guys think/talk like this for real?  Is this actually normal and I'm an outlier?

I'm 99% sure that Trump is simply a monster, but it got me wondering.  Because if guys are more like him than I assumed, then holy shit ladies, I'm so, so sorry.

I hear ya. I played football (the real kind not handegg) when I was young and locker room talk was all about the boobs or the ass or something like that. I never liked to brag, some guys did. I follow the maxim "malandro não estrilha" roughly translated as "a scoundrel doesn't make a fuss", or in a more formal way, "a gentleman never tells". I found after some times that the ones that bragged the most usually are the ones that never got anything.

Its a teenage thing I guess. I have done what could be considered as objectifying women comments et al, but the culture here is different.

Hell yes.

Fuck no! I suggest a compromise - leave him on Canada's doorstep, ring the bell and run away.

Gross. Just...unbelievably offensive and gross. I wonder how he would feel if someone grabbed one of his daughters by the genitalia without her consent? Though, I guess a person who speaks about his infant daughter's potential breast size on national TV probably wouldn't care much about her being objectified and abused later on in life.

Even more gross is the fact that his supporters will have no problem excusing this away like everything else.

Trump supporters, lol.

(yeah, yeah, I know people don't always tell the truth when they know they're on camera, but in this case I don't find the terrifying stupidity on display that far fetched)

That fits well with Mark Cuban's dismissal of Trump's status as a 'great' businessman on Bill Maher's Real Time last night.  He said you never hear anyone extoll Trump for mentoring them in business, or how Trump's involvement helped them.  Just countless stories of people being stiffed. He also extrapolated from the released tax forms to dismiss the claim Trump was a billionaire.  Love to hear a genuine billionaire take down a would be one.

I haven't got source or date either, but I have to admit to be a little bit surprised over that debate. And it's not an American issue either, it's a global issue with candidates like that. Look at the Philipines for recent reference.

People falling for figures like that will just be more determined to wave his flag. He's proven once again to be one of them in their opinion. We're not talking about intellectuals here. We're talking mostly about people who want to see their most primitive instincts served. Mostly male, I would guess.

The only real problem for Trump in all of this lies in the money men withdrawing their support. Other than that, it's just another day at the office.

There are no poll results from after this video emerged. Poll results usually take a few days to come out. Since the debate two weeks ago, he's been on a downward trend in both national and state polls (the state polls are more important):

I think yesterday he had a slight uptick in some state polls, but that was likely due to some small recovery from the past few weeks, and not related to his comments.
