If a businessman is successful when they make a lot of money, then Trump has been immensely successful.

Even that is up for debate. He already started out a rich man, subsidised by dad, pulled out of the shit he created by dad and turned into dad's heir later on. Noone can really say how much he really made under his own steam. He claims to be a billionaire, but the jury's still out on that.

He's very well off, that's for sure. But what part his own exploits played in his fortune is anyone's guess.

I was thinking "use" would be a better word than "make", in Trump's case.

Trump Campaign Fires Its Virginia State Chair After RNC Protest

Could this stupid election get any stupider? With Trump now the head of the Republican Party? Well of course it could!
A Virginia blogger described Corey Stewart like this, upon hearing the news:

Couldn’t have happened to a nastier guy than Corey Stewart the immigrant-bashing, demagogic thug of Prince William County and the (former) Virginia State Director for neo-fascist Donald Trump.

Apparently Stewart was repeatedly warned what would happen if he went ahead with the protest, but didn't care. There are rumors he wants to run for Governor in 2017, and was intent on making a name for himself. He did, but at Trump's expense. Hence, he got canned.

Apparently one of the signs at this protest said "Better to grab a pussy than be one."

As for Trump, I find it hilarious in some way that this is blowing up in his face. Spew hatred against minorities and all kinds of people, no biggie. But have some sexually loaded locker talk and it seems to be game over.

That's because a significant slice of his support comes from fundamentalist Christians who will support anyone the Republicans put up (or would before, lol).

You know, I almost feel sorry for the evangelists.

Remember ex-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich? Imagine an alternate reality where he avoided prison and was the 2016 Democratic nominee. We liberals want the Supreme Court so bad. Voting for Blagojevich so we could get it wouldn't require holding our nose. It would require holding the ballot up against your back and punching it by stabbing yourself through the gut. That's the position the evangelists are in.

Like I said, I almost feel sorry for them.
