What exactly are they protesting though? Democracy? People's right to vote for who they want?
I'm not a Trump supporter, but I'm not sure I see the point to the "protests."

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Yeah ... in principle. The only thing that makes sense is aiming the protests at the other 50% of the population, telling them that their choice was bad...

The only "point" I see is that to do with the fact that Hillary was the one who won the popular vote, not Trump.

The electoral college is not democracy. I presume they are protesting getting Trump despite Hillary winning the popular vote. 4th time in history, twice in less than 20 years.
You don't vote for president and neither do I. 538 special people cast ballots on your behalf, but are mostly not even required to accurately represent their states.

Are they specifically protesting the way we do voting then? I mean like the electoral thing? If so, that would make more sense.

I'd like to think they are protesting Obama goading Trump to run for president in the first place.

I defend their right to peaceful protest. They should be able to express their disappointment/outrage regarding the election. Another step toward making a change.
If they believe that this will change the election that is delusional thinking.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I doubt there is that much thought behind it, C/L. They're just mad.

We had protests in downtown Austin... I don't give a flying fuck what is going on in the rest of the world, you don't protest in the middle of the street on a bridge in downtown Austin and stop everyone else around you. They seriously shut down one of the few bridges through Austin and I wanted to hit them. We already have enough traffic issues we don't need you fucking things up more. Note I hate Trump just as much as any other decent person and I literally cried over him being president but I still need to be able to keep my job and get to work.

Also if your signature makes my scrolling mess up "you're tacky and I hate you."
