Yeah, versus Trump the bar is a mighty low bar. But I do hope the DNC loses the smokey back room, makes the process more open and finds a candidate capable of speaking intelligently to many groups in a way that connects. Bill C. had that. Obama too. Hillary not so much. Bernie was great at energizing the young and more liberal among us. I hope he can find a way to stay in the spot light and win over the more moderate dems. Just give me smart with a social conscience and able to communicate .. if you can find anyone like that willing to take such a grueling job.

One might think that if Trump shows even modest successes in job growth, rising incomes, lowering of tensions overseas, there might be net increase in the numbers of 'pub seats in the House and Senate.
The OLD way of looking at that is the party in power always loses seats during the first midterm elections.
Shouldn't the DNC poohbahs at least CONSIDER the possibility Trump will get more 'pub seats in Congress in 2018 ??
How many hacks and old timers do we want running the DNC TODAY ?
It's a new fucking game, old rules are out, and there needs to be some big changes in thinking that we are NOT seeing.

Well apparently we need an actual good candidate, instead of just "better than the other guy". I don't think Tim is going to be a popular candidate that exicites people, and makes them want to hit the polls.

We need people that understand the game.
And know what the fuck they are doing.
