Surely that junkie guy will realise that the shit he's injecting is wirthless when he gets no reaction from it? Even if he somehow doesn't notice the lack of injection site, or the feeling of the needle in his own arm. Then he's going to take that gun and blow it into the face of his dealer, probably leading to retaliation, turf wars, and many many corpses.
