What's your job?
#51
RE: What's your job?
Currently unemployed, but I'm a web developer by trade. Right now I'm looking at a few different options to continue in the industry, among them being freelance work.

Boru

Guitars, violins, obscure string instruments like lutes and dulcimers, or all of the above?

You should do it Mooney.  You actually don't need alot of money, or alot of space. You don't need experience (and frankly, the best experience for a small farmer is marketing experience, not a farming background - that's where experienced producers fail most often). Hit me up in pms if you want a massive pile of resources for getting started.

I will here in the next year when we move to a real house! I appreciate the offer and I will definitely take you up on it!

Full time undergrad. I work at a state park in the summers. Hypothetically I could decide to work there full time, it is a state government job. But I pray I don't have to. I have my sights set on Washington DC post-graduation

Prolly something political since that's all there is to do there.

On the flip side, aeg, you'd actually be close enough to me so we can visit. Big Grin

I'm not sure yet. I'm getting set up with an internship program next Fall semester. I think I'd like to go for certain offices within the State Department that deal with international human rights, or other human rights watchdogs based in DC like Freedom House. Life on Capitol Hill sounds crazy but fun, so I'm also considering that. But when you have a bachelor's in Political Science there's only one city to go to IMO

RE: What's your job?
I work as a cargo ship agent (mostly bulk cargo but also the occasional tanker) for vessels calling the lower Mississippi River.

Prior to this, I had a diverse and sometimes colorful work history. I'll just leave it at that, since I've gone over it here several times in the past.
