Into the abyss

RE: Into the abyss
On a serious note:
C'mon, Vor, it's not that bad.  You'll go in, you'll have a nice little nap, the doc will examine your sparkling clean colon
and hopefully give you a clean bill of health.
Yes, colon cancer is bad.  I have to have a colonoscopy once a year, 'cause I'm high risk.
But I watched a friend lose the battle to colon cancer.  It was horrific.
Best wishes for your test!

If C_L was here she could pray for your deliverance though the chemical will probably see to that anyhow.

LOL, insurance agent just dropped off a complimentary ice scraper and a nice tote bag, suitable for camcorder and quite a bit of paraphernalia, by my eye.

She noted I wasn't looking to chipper, I apprised of the situation, and she left post haste.

I have a relative taking me in and bringing me back from the procedure,  we have a prearranged reciprocal agreement.

There will be no amusing vids posted on line afterwards.

I've been in the living room recliner off and on. For those not in the know, I have to be on death's doorstep to perch there. Last visit to that chair was the West Nile Fever experience, prior to that it was a 2nd molar extraction.

Why doesn't ISIS execute prisoners with this shit? Immolation would be blessed relief at this point . . .

Vorlon, as someone who has previously had a colonoscopy and lived to tell about it, I suggest staying close to ready sources of warmth -- Hot tub, hot shower, heat register, All The Blankets There Are. When the prep was doing its thing, the main effect I noticed is that I was having trouble keeping warm.

yes, there are blankies on the recliner

I was thinking a hot bath would be good too, but fouling the waters is still a potent risk at this point.

Also, an odd sensation, my face feels like it could fall off, it's real weird and unpleasant. Shaky too, might be the chilling effect . .

In a couple of more hours he'll be wishing for that.

Also, it occurs to me, with the apparently unavoidable salty taste of this gavilyte shit, why include fruit flavor packets?  My choices were orange, cherry and I don't recall the third one.

I'm no food technologist, but with the much thicker than water consistency anyhow, and the existing salty taste,

why the fuck doesn't this shit come with a packet to make it taste like gravy ?!?!?!?!?!

hell, I'd drink that right up, despite the cramps bloating and nausea, I'm fucking hungry !!!!
