Yeah, all of those stupid millennials and their damn butt sex.  Not like those wholesome baby boomers that grew up in the 60's and 70's and exercised sexual restraint.

Colostomy bags everywhere!

The Bible isn't viewed as prohibiting picking up sticks on the Sabbath anymore, hell, just asserting the Sabbath is sunset Friday to sunset Saturday will get you a funny look at any conservative evangelical/fundamentalist church in America, no matter how inerrant and literal they look at scripture. And if it's OK to pick up sticks on the Sabbath, then what would be wrong with sanding one down, greasing it up and sticking it in your bum ?

At OP: I like to think the bible does forbid anal sex. I find I enjoy the naughty context. Adds to the flavor of the experience.

This whole thing would be moot if god had just intelligently designed us to process food at 100% efficiency.

No butthole, no buttsex.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Second homosexuality is defined by scripture as unnatural anyone want to guess why. Well in case you can't anal sex is not natural. The colon was not designed for things to enter it, its function is to expelled waste from the body, a one way street if you will. Prolapsed is the result of to much anal sex and a very bad thing for the body. So you see God the designer of the human body understands these things and knows He did not design the colon to be misused in this way or any other way. Use your mind people, you claim to be the most logical ones on this planet well think like you claim.

Is anal sex the only way gay folk can be intimate? No.

I won't hold my breath waiting for your support of the design bullshit, but perhaps you could explain the design of the retina or the back coming off the workdesk of a perfect creator?

especially if you imagine you're in a homo orgy with Jesus and all the disciples . . .

Just an observation and not sure what to make of it but I have noticed a trend lately. On Unbelievable? I've noticed that the two main objection to Christianity given by atheist guests are: 1) the Problem of Evil and 2) prohibition of gay relationships.

I've been reading about the Ebionites lately.

From Wiki:

Ebionites, . . . is a patristic term referring to a Jewish Christian movement that existed during the early centuries of the Christian Era. They regarded Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah while rejecting his divinity and insisted on the necessity of following Jewish law and rites. They used only one of the Jewish–Christian gospels, revered James the brother of Jesus (James the Just), and rejected Paul the Apostle as an apostate from the Law. Their name suggests that they placed a special value on voluntary poverty. Ebionim was one of the terms used by the sect at Qumran that sought to separate themselves from the corruption of the Temple.

This is a really ancient group and their 'take' on Christianity is amazing if you think about it for a minute. How did they get so far 'off' of what was to become mainline Christianism so early in the game ?

It's really mysterious, no? One might expect to see that much 'drift' in dogma after a couple millennia perhaps (thinkg of Mormonism now) but Apostle Paul was pretty early in the game and the Ebionites were right there point out his heresy. Hell, even now, if there were any contemporary Ebionites, they could point to the Gospel of Matthew and say "See? It's right there, Paul is making shit up and CONTRADICTING Jesus from the git go !!"

So, where I'm headed with this, look at the discrepancy from current mainstream belief to what the Ebionites were asserting, and then it raises all kinds of questions about other dogma we have now, like the sexual repression stuff, particularly in regards to the gay stuff and Jesus being conspicuously silent on the topic.

It's tough to condemn the Ebionites, I might be changing my view as to the One True Faith being the Ebionism instead of the Congregation of Jehovah's Presbytery of Zion
. . .

Not natural. Not found in nature.

Sure about that?

So the proposition can be falsified by finding just one instance of homosexual activity in nature - discounting humans as natural for this.

Just one...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
