It seems that you still like Trump now, correct?

If so, what exactly is it about him that appeals to you?

Islam and Illegal immigration were what I voted on. I think the man's ego is off putting, but both candidates had off putting personalities so I voted for the one that talked about the issues I cared about. Maybe it was the wrong choice, but I'll stick with it until I see the effects of his presidency.

I'm not an American, I did like Trump in the earlier days of his campaign, though but I distanced myself from him a while back. I understand why illegal immigration annoys you but surely you mean Islamic extremism instead of Islam? The anti-Islamic attitude of people like Bannon and news outlets like Breitbart will only play into Daesh' hands and help radicalise vulnerable Muslims out there.

Yes I mean that. Muslim's that integrate with our culture don't bother me. Extremism does bother me from any group of people.

That's nice.  Perhaps you should consider not scorning people simply for not sharing your apathy?

Just a thought.

It was not intended to be directly at you, it was for a broader range of people. The ones who think they can make a massive difference on their own. The louder you get, the closer you are to one of those people who in stand a in a parking lot, those annoying asking to people to vote and other type of things. As I said before, you can't detour off this course were on, we can only pull over to the side of the road for a brake. You, your friend Jim, I, and everyone we know are all along for the ride. I'm the one taking a tap in the bus, are you the one who is trying to stop the bus even though your outnumbered?

I guess it's your right to think that. I'm not going to argue with you about your perception of me.

I'm curious: why DID you vote for Trump?
Most people around here would vote for anyone but Trump, so you're a novelty... do tell. Smile (you can do it by PM, if you feel the open forum would bring you some unwanted backlash)

So given all the problems he's ignoring or plain out exacerbating, you decided to cast your votes based on his fake promises to fix the two least problematic ones.

Yeah, people are so thick sometimes that they'll even vote against their own interests.
