Like the ones who think if you're at a protest on a Monday, you must be on welfare? Yeah, they're just dumb cocks whipping out their tiny penises. Fuck 'em.

So what kind of complex do people have that don't want to defend themselves. Could it be honorable in that they would rather sacrifice themselves than take the life of another? Serious question. I don't own a gun myself, and really don't want to kill anyone. I still stand for gun rights. Also understand the law only applies to law abiding citizens. Taking rights away from people only affects those who follow it. In the US it's illegal for felons to own guns for example. Felons can still buy them on the black market. The same as drugs which are illegal. How is it that we have such strict drug laws, but such a large drug problem? Simple, those who want it can find it, as long as they don't follow the law.

What makes non-white middle American men and women gun owners feel secure?

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I think he views you as someone who is dependent on others to protect you ie government, as opposed to someone who can protect themselves and be an individualist. I don't own a gun, but always thought it was strange how throughout human history governments want to prevent citizens from owning certain weapons, and then we have some citizens that want to give up their rights. It really comes down to being dependent and domesticated vs independent and free.
Granted I realize you own guns, and don't know what you mean by sensible in relationship to your argument with him was.
Governments want to stop people from owning certain weapons because occasionally there are times when people just shoot up other people for no good reason. In the UK automatic weapons were effectively banned after the Hungerford massacre, our government learned that allowing people to have this sort of fire power was a bad thing. We have had no other crimes of this sort since. The US for some reason refuses to learn and as a result has the equivalent of a Hungerford massacre every day.
When lots of people die from not wearing seat belts the law is changed to make you wear seat belts its the same thing.

From what I can tell its when they cant see a police man.
Not because they have done anything wrong, but because in America the police seem to a branch of the KKK.

If you're going to call me a racist, please point out what makes me one. It's a very common tactic to call someone a racist and avoid the issues. Tell me what have I said that is racist? You're the one attacking white men of which I am one. Do you expect me to sit back and take it without saying a word? I own a gun. Are you saying that I bought it to go out and shoot minorities? Where do you get the right to slander people you don't even know?

Reading Luckie's post and interpreting it as 'an attack on white men' is not a good sign. It also speaks to the insecurity issue in the OP. Then there's the fact that you even wonder if she's saying that you bought a gun so you could use it to go out an shoot minorities. She didn't say anything close to that so the slander is all in your head.
Get a grip, Lek. It's shit like that which makes people think you're a racist, not that you're a white man who owns a gun. You're not the only white guy on this forum who owns a gun. It's like you're ticking off boxes from the crypto-racist scorecard. I'm hoping you won't make it to BINGO.
When someone says something about racist white people, I assume they're not talking about me. If what they're saying makes me uncomfortable, I start thinking that maybe they ARE talking about me, and I should pay closer attention, because I am not perfectly enlightened and therefore immune from having any racist qualities whatsoever. Upon analysis, if they have a point about me, I try to address that about myself. I love finding out that I'm wrong about something, because afterwards I'm less wrong than I was before. I know I am less racist than I was ten years ago, but that doesn't mean I'm perfectly not racist, or that it's even an attainable thing. But I'm secure in that I know I really don't want an excuse to be racist and I really want to do better.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

"If anything, "Bearing Arms" in an open carry state is a death sentence for anyone who isn't white."
This quote from Luckie's post is appears to me to be a racist statement against white people. Looks like she's saying that white people with guns use them to shoot non-whites.
"Nothing. They're scared of the army, the police, racist militia, rogue middle aged white men in movie theatres, and.. each other."
"Unless I'm mistaken and you aren't an entitled middle aged white male?"
Two more quotes. The last one directed at me.
"Mainly because I'm not interested in talking to a fucking racial apologist."
Another quote from her post directed at me. Sounds pretty racist to me.
This is what so many are doing these days. Instead of making the effort to address comments, they just call the person a racist or a fascist or something. Then when I point it out and ask for facts people like you say it just make me look racist. If I don't say anything I'm agreeing.
