Yeah, your lot threw a hissy (which is only warranted and good when the right does it, amirite?) and got the sponsorship pulled. That's how this works. Yay capitalism!

Delta Airlines, oddly enough, didn't see fit to pull it's support from that production.
Obama was about as authoritarian as Mr. Rogers lol
Well it's a good thing I wasn't making that point then!

I was commenting on out of corrupt, out of control leadership being what apparently both plays and Julius Caesar was about. Not that I've ever been much for Shakespeare.

And, as I mentioned before, Coriolanus might have actually been a better fit, since, while Julius Caesar was about trying to kill him before it got out of control (remember, he thrice refused the crown before deciding to be crowned in the play, and in real life, he had only held the dictator perpetuo title for a month and a half at most, before he really had much of a chance to bollocks everything up) and still remains sympathetic, Coriolanus spends the whole play being out of control and openly detesting the people he leads and paying dearly for it.
Perhaps a version of Julius Caesar worked well with Obama, a popular leader who was known to do some morally and legally questionable things (drone strikes, for instance) in America's name, but Trump's clearly Caius Marcius Coriolanus.

They killed way more innocent civilians than terrorists.
If he had anything to do with the use of depleted uranium shells (radioactive, cause birth defects) that would be worse in my opinion.
That could have been a tactical decision made by military brass.

To be fair, I honestly get the impression that, by this point, casual human rights abuses like that are part and parcel of being the Commander-in-Chief of the biggest military power on Earth (seriously, America spends more on its military per year than all but 20 countries even have.)

Even to the point of portraying the murder of a sitting president. "Shakespeare In The Park", directed by Oskar Eustis. A play about the murder assassination of Julius Caesar, only Caesar is depicted by a bloodied modern day Donald Trump look alike who was repeatedly stabbed to death by Senators who just happen to be women and minorities. Also in the play the wife of the murdered president is a Melania Trump look alike who speaks with a Slavic accent and is covered with the blood of her murdered husband. The play was funded in part with taxpayers' dollars along with corporate funding by "Delta Airlines", "Bank of America", and "American Express". The play was also funded in part by "The New York Times". "Delta Airlines", so far, has released public statements condemning the play.

http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Tru...58723.html I'm hard of hearing so I cannot understand the dialogues in this video clip without captions.
All I can say is that I don't believe in assassination of any sorts - it's a waste of lives. I'd argue that Donald Trump is a contentious president and quite defies the spirit of democracy in America in many respects. A Theist, may I ask you - what are you trying to say by posting this so I can understand better?
Obama Barack was a promising one, very egalitarian but I had some pessimism since he was not as practical with his many deeds as he was supposed to be. IMHO, Donald Trump is far worse in regards to his presidential conduct.

So, America completely failed to understand how their terrorist foes actually worked and consequently completely fucked up the job of trying to defeat them. What else is new?

It would have been nice for the US and the UK to keep their dicks out of the ME, after WW2. How much different would it be, today? Hard to say.
