You are not entirely innocent in this.

Indeed as I said Right wingers started this game built this climate . Now some other radicals have copied his sides idea's  and used them against you. So i wonder how it tastes . I wonder if this happened 5 years ago to a Dem we would here this outrage I doubt it. Lastly he does not have to say the word liberal we can hear the dog whistle.

Lol, both sides say that the other side started it. This shit has gone on forever, it's gotten much worse, but to point fingers and say "it's okay we act like this, the other side started it! " doesn't do anything positive to further your message and just isn't accurate. Nobody started it and that's not an excuse to dehumanize the other side.

I'm curious to know what leads a normal person to support the right wing political parties.
Aren't you the high minded pompous ass. Are you asking a question or making a statement? I'm also curious to know what leads once seemingly normal people to support leftwing parties only to end up mentally unbalanced.

I asked two questions.... and was hoping for some civilized discourse.
I am truly curious about what sort of policies the right wing parties sponsor and propose that the common people think are good for the whole country.
From my experience, right wing parties concern themselves mostly with supporting businesses and business owners. Everyone who is not in this category, I wouldn't expect to be supportive of such parties... and yet... that's not what we see. I don't get it and am interested in understanding it.

Fuck you, Brooks.

NO shit, not even when their own get shot at do they want to do anything. This is just insanity. It should not matter if it was a disturbed liberal or a disturbed tea party nut, we still have way too many mass shootings in this country.

Truth is there really is nothing to discuss. This shit happens year after year decade after decade. If the laws the GOP always gets worked, nobody would be bitching.

You want civilized discourse? That cant happen with the unreasonable and right now the GOP is bat shit insane and totally unreasonable.

I don't see how taking this opportunity to bash Republicans when Republicans were just murdered for being Republican is going to be at all productive or do any sort of good. Which is precisely what I was seeing most of here when I made that post. Though I haven't read the last several pages, so don't know if the tune has changed since.

Holy crap, this is the same lack of understanding mistaking rightful anger for being pro violence. This is why far too many whites in America cannot understand why blacks respond when one ends up dead in the hands of law enforcement.

Ok, let me see if this helps.

We know how hurricanes form but that does not mean we want the hurricane to effect us. We know tornados exist and the conditions that can lead to them, but that does not mean we want to get killed by one.

Nobody was justifying what the guy did, NOBODY. But the long term economic conditions the GOP have set up since Reagan can cause disenfranchised desperate individuals to do destructive things. It is the same thing that will also cause a tea party nut to shoot cops.

You don't reduce events like this by ignoring the root causes. The root causes are wages are not meeting the cost of living. Health care is sky rocketing, and ease of access to weapons.

If they throw 24 million off of health care it wont just be democrats angry at them, lots of republicans will feel just as duped and be just as angry. You simply cannot explode the pay gap and create more and more desperate people and then expect them not to be desperate.

An explanation is not excuse making.  The GOP is responsible for these events happening because they have since the 1980s obstructed any and all attempts at trying to reduce events like this.  Trump spent his campaign claiming he'd fight for the small guy, and the sane knew that was a load of crap, but on top of that he sold hate and demagoguery.

This didn't happen overnight. This was 36 years in the making. And unfortunately even back in 1984 murdering 26 women children and men in a California McDonalds wasn't enough to make any changes. Columbine maybe? Nope. Newtown? Nope still nothing.

Nobody is condoning the shooting, but this keeps happening because one party cares more about protecting the profits of one industry than they do about lives.

Policy and the history of GOP policy.

They have been masters for 36 years getting gullible people like you to vote against your own self interests.

They have convinced you the rich will end up on cat food if you don't give them everything they want.
They have convinced their working class supporters that things will get better if they just accept less pay.
They have convinced their religious right that they are persecuted even though they are not.
They have convinced you that liberals are anti private sector when we are not.
They have shouted "government bad" while saying they support law enforcement whom are PUBLIC EMPLOYEES which are government.

36 years ago Reagan started the age of deregulation and in that time the GOP has controlled on average the majority of that time between the three branches.

Einstein said, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results".

Liberals DO NOT hate the private sector.
Liberals are not out to end the private sector for saying pay is not keeping up with the cost of living.
We do not think health care should bankrupt any family, nor should inability to pay be a death sentence.
We think workers don't get paid enough.
An Epi Pen should NOT cost $600
A college education should NOT take a life time to pay back.

GOP policies in that 36 years has given rise to those high costs. The only thing liberals can be accused of is our voter apathy which has allowed them to hold the nation hostage.

Agreed when you examine the policies. Generally anything the right accuses the left of is virtually always a condition the right are the founders of. As for his question there is nothing about left wing policies that drove the killer only the evils of the right.
