Because the difference is that conservative politicians, pundits, and such don't make excuses for right-wing violence. They don't tolerate that kind of behavior regardless of the agitators race or political beliefs. Left-wing elites and MSM keeping telling everyone that we need to "understand" the "frustrations" of the rioters or the poverty as the root cause, or need an "honest conversation" about oppression, etc. Or the NRA made me do it.

We -do- need to understand the frustrations of violent people if we ever want to do something to prevent it? We -do- need to have a talk about poverty and it's endemic consequences. We -do- need an honest conversation about oppression? How could you possibly tie any of these things into a perjerotive of " left wing elites".......? These are obviously your trigger issues...they come up time and time again.

I did address that. Pay gap, and putting profit over problem solving.
Unfortunately for 36 years the right has successfully sold any criticism of business as being anti private sector. Guns are simply another big business lobby that has played upon those fears.
Until the left stops letting the right make that bait and unless we stop falling for their bait, they will continue to use it.
