If I were to have one wish, it would be to not have any inner conflicts of any type. Imagine waking up every single day, without any stress or conflict. But, I guess without adversity, we don't grow.
Then, I should be a million feet tall by now, just sayin.

Adversity is pointless...and we'd grow regardless. It's just something that happens as cells build up.

Wouldn't life get tedious and unrewarding if everything was so simple it was just handed to us? Struggle defines us. That's why an eternal paradise is such an unattractive prospect. Even if you want to narrow the scope of adversity like that, I don't think it would do a person any good. Minimize it, sure, but don't eliminate it altogether.

This. So much this. I wish that people who don't use common sense be forced to do the shit jobs no one wants to do. In addition - those people should be forced to attend common sense classes until they learn how to use it.
This thinking for other fucking people is overrated.

I agree with you somewhat on adversity, though it would be nice to go through weeks or even months without some utter prick trying to make our lives more difficult by being a dick.

Wouldn't life get tedious and unrewarding if everything was so simple it was just handed to us? I wouldn't know, none of us would...we don't live such a life - that's why we're forced to imagine one in a fairy otherworld. I mean, poersonally, imma take people at their word for that...and we very much seem to want things handed to us, if at all possible. Speaking of, can I borrow five bucks?

Ish. It may be that getting kicked in the dick by some random asshole defined the rest of one John Q Randos life - but if he hadn;t been kicked in the dick, something else likely would have.

It's the eternity part that makes paradise unattractive, not the paradise part. I take little trips to paradise on a near constant basis.

Well considering you're not actually eating one, sure, why not? I've never tasted one before but I know what regular snot tastes like so I imagine it's salty. Or does it being dried out make it taste awful like a raisin compared to a grape? But who wouldn't be curious to know what certain things taste like without the dread of ingesting some kind of bacteria or other nauseating substance? I'm the kind of person who'll try just about anything at least once.

The challenge should lie in the betterment of humanity and our environment, be it medical knowledge or physical understanding of the universe, without having to put up with some petty, selfish sonofa/bitch with a personal agenda derailing it.

Exactly. If there are no problems to solve, what is the point of existence, paradise or not? No sense of achievement or accomplishment, nothing uncertain to give you the thrill of a mystery, not like some dipshit who assumes you have to get castrated to experience life-affirmation. But little things, not so much that they put incredible stress or undue suffering. Just the kind of thing no god concept even pretends to care to prevent.

I dearly wish, with all of what passes for my heart, that servers in restaurants would fucking listen to me.
It isn't constant by any means, but it happens often enough to get on my tits something fierce. We go in, get seated, look over the menu, and after I've told the waiter what I want, he suggests something else. Look, pal, if I had wanted the edamame appetizer, I would have ordered the edamame appetizer. I've read the goddamed menu, I know what you have, and I've ordered what I want. I don't give two steaming shits that the chef over-ordered crab for this week, or that your manager told you to 'push' the artichokes in aioli. Stop fucking assuming that you know better than I do what I want to eat.
May the Great Fairy wot sits in the sky grant this wish. Sooner have this than a lottery jackpot.
