Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

maybe blasphemy has fractal properties and there never will be an ultimate, infinite instance of blasphemy ??

The talking snake was just a metaphor for the darker side of our human nature.. 
Technically Jesus was an alien visitor with awesome powers who came to clue us in about things-

Did that 53 years ago. Only part that "stuck" was Matthew 25:35-40, which I do try to practise. Further investigations led me to the conclusion that there was nothing all that unique in the message, and certainly nothing that required anything more than a garden-variety mortal human to relay the message.
