I should revise that to read "Bible Jesus", the Jesus that the Christers profess to Believe in lest they be damned. And that Bible Jesus is clearly described as Jewish until Apostle Paul grotesquely exceeds his authority to just preach and then rewrites Jesus as someone He never was or could even imagine Himself to be.

Given where he was born, Jesus would have to look middle-eastern. I'm not sure where this "white/black Jesus" thing comes from, except Europeans didn't want their savior to look more like a jew or a muslim than them.

Well, that's how messed up the mentality is. They don't even have the sense to be pissed at the guy who's supposed to have literally limitless access to free booze for any occasion, and holds out on everyone.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
