I'm not the least surprised that a follower of Jesus is here defending people who throughout history have turned the other cheek when their underlings in the cloth abuse children. Nor am I surprised when you try to put the blame on humanity for something the church is known for. I'm not saying those outside the church don't do heinous things, but we're not talking about lay people here. We're talking about men who call themselves spiritual leaders who take the office which they claim to be holy and use it for a cloak for evil.
