Not so much when you're at sea though....

Definitely. On land, or via TV is by far the safest.

I always have comprehensive coverage on my cars.

And no, I'm not a billionaire.

I carried full coverage on both of my cars for years. Then I let a friend drive the one car and she drove it into the ground inside of three years. There went that car. Now I just have liability on my one remaining car.

Not to be a Debbie downer but I just saw the prediction models for Irma. One week out.

By next Sunday morning it is skirting the Florida Keys and then heading straight into the Gulf.  It is already a Category 5 out in the Atlantic.  Regardless of where it goes from there it will hit a bible-belt state.  Do you suppose the christards will wonder why 'god' is punishing them?

I keep pointing out where they're not doing it right, but I guess God Almighty has to supply the exclamation point.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Comprehensive is relatively cheap, less than $45 for 6 months. Pretty much a no-brainer.

Your idea of a sealed up house is puzzling. Most homeowners like to have windows and most homes also have vents that lead to the outside.

This was posted August 25th, the day Harvey made landfall and before the flooding began. Care to post a follow up story of how her house fared?

That's a good question.  The reporter was supposed to have done a follow-up but there doesn't seem to be any update on how it turned out.  But you can write to her if you want.  You can find her address on the internet in the Whitepages site.
