Haha, I didn't expect to get to number 2 already when I'd left for years
 Let's put it this way... I returned to AF in August 2015 with a post count of under 8000

I'll probably never post that much again though. My record is 404 posts in 24 hours. I think Min has just been posting 10-20 posts a day since 2009, tbh.
Yeah - at one point I was averaging 30-some posts a day, but when I started school, I was absent for most of that summer and fall. I didn't really pick back up being here until end of November 2015. Been going pretty strong ever since then, I think. I still have my days where I don't reply to anyone for a few days or so, but that's the reason for this thread. When you are playing catch up in the mustard, making multiple posts on top of each other tends to cause them to get lumped into one post, which, aye, affects true post count.

Funnily enough (one of) the reasons we have it this way is to combat post count inflation.
Also, having the posts automatically concatenate is something that helps mods with robo-spammers making multiple posts. Quality over Quantity, Joods.

But I would like to think that the majority (not all, mind you) of my posts are of quality. If you look at where mine are lumped together, it seems to be the "quality" posts are lumped together and the stupid ones are not. Oh well... thanks for letting me know the reason, MCB. It does make sense in a way. The first reason, I can totally understand and get behind. The second one - not so much because when there have been robo-spammers, many of us are quick to catch them and let you all know about it even if you guys don't see them right away. Think of us as "citizen mods on patrol" lol. I know you literally live in slack, so if I see a spammer, I can hit you up there and let you know. I did that last time lol.
