'Twas the case last update I heard, anyway.
Stay safe everyone.
I'm just a couple hours north of you if you feel like visiting getting away from the storm to where it's safe

We are only one county west of mandatory evacuations. I'm trying to decide if we should pack up and go on vacation.

Stay safe.
And consider that an ORDER.
You will comply.

Come up here. If I can talk Thena into it, we can all have a party

Thena's supervisor can go pound sand because there's terrible weather coming and Thena's friends need her more than you do!

The throughput would be greatly increased, even if they only went 15 MPH.
Put them on both sides of the median and you'll have all the lanes closed with a few accidents. Keeping the southbound lanes open for diversions is usually the plan.

The friends I have that own condos down in Daytona are absolutely nuts. They should be heading to Boston, where they have relatives and also where they travel to several times a year. It's safer up there. Do they evacuate? Nope. They are staying put in their condo. I told them they are nuts for staying. Even with two condos in the same building, on the 4th and 7th floors - you couldn't get me to stick around for all the money in the world. They are right on the damn coast. Better hope they have provisions for food and water if the power goes out.

Well, I'm sure the condos in Daytona represent the highest quality, state-of-the-art structures in the world of residential construction. I mean, what developers or contractors ever cut corners to make a buck?
I hope your friends will be ok.
