Oh come on! That's absolute Bull! NPR is still on the receiving end of taxpayers support. When taxpayer supported public broadcasting espouses an intolerant agenda that does not allow for open debate, then federal dollars should be cut off. All federal taxpayer funding, direct or indirect, should not be flowing to NPR.

...unlike NPR, Fox News doesn't receive federal taxpayers support of any kind, direct or indirect, as also stated by the "Jed Report"...

Quote:But the bottom-line is that NPR receives no direct federal funding. In other words, when Huckabee and Palin call for eliminating direct federal funding of NPR, they are howling at the moon

That's your claim. Of course, you can prove it, right? And even IF they are, so friggin what? I think they are more representative of the American people than broadcasters like Faux News will ever be.

Conservatives have always been a minority in this country, dude. If it wasn't for crossover votes, they'd never win in national elections. But of course, none of this has anything to do with science and mathematics, now, does it. So perhaps the moderators should move this thread to a more appropriate venue, eh?

...dude, no way. Liberals are the minority in this country. If it weren't for the independent vote, neither party would ever win national elections. Democrats are going to get slaughtered at the polls in November. Many state elections will also go to the Republicans.

I can't believe I agree with Fox. But Ibrahim Hooper is a piece of shit.
He took a section out of context, used the O'Reilly's show as a litmus test of racism (it's idiotic to use merely the existence of the show as a reason for racism - you judge the words, dumbass) and then was justifying "We have a right to react".
And I have a right to say fuck you to Muslims. But that doesn't mean I go waltzing down the street doing that.
You cannot have a dialogue while having people fired for voicing their honest opinions while examining why those opinions are that way.
That's like firing someone for admitting that they get nervous when they get surrounded by black people - emotions aren't logical. By definition.
Judging someone on their emotions is mind control, thought crime.
You judge their actions taken.
Fuck NPR.
Fuck Fox.
