Actually, employees do have the right to free speech.  It's just that they can get into trouble by their employers for exercising that right.

I have every right to tell a customer that she's being an annoying twat, but it doesn't mean I get to keep my job for having exercised my right of free speech.

The focus should not be on the players or the owners for that matter. The focus should be on 45's dangerous rhetoric that is not appropriate for someone in office. It is dangerous what he is doing, and talk like that over long periods can erode checks on power if enough buy into his tactic and follow him.

It's called selective bias.

Kind of like when some husbands have selective hearing around their wives.

In this sports scenario, the bias is selective depending on how they personally want to approach it at any given time.

I understand that. I'm just pointing up the hypocrisy.

NSS. Apparently you don't understand how the "and" works in what you quoted. You just repeated what I said.

Again asshole, FUCK YOU. There you go again, equating the MINORITY of those whom show up as being the majority.

You support the PARTY that loves guns and mixing guns with religion.  Do some on the left do stupid shit? Yea, do most on the left condone it? NO! And we are talking about NFL players in this thread, not college students. And again fuckface, those rioters were not students in any case ASSHOLE.

"Unacceptable" is thinking a voluntary ritual should be forced on everyone. Please tell me how forced ritual is voluntary?

You are just a fucking crybaby, and a fucking bigot whom wont admit it or is to fucking stupid to see that you are.

The white BILLIONAIRE owners support those black players protesting. NOBODY is trying to say they hate being rich sports stars. The owners are not allowing it because they hate America. THE OWNERS and players support that protest because they see what the players see, what stupid ignorant fucks like you keep ignoring. That in the year 2017 blacks are unfortunately still treated differently by economics and our justice system.

IT IS ABOUT RACE YOU DIPSHIT...... Black pro athletes no matter their paycheck, and even outside sports, even black business owners, even if they drive a BMW or Benz, even if they are wearing a suit. Even if they are not wearing a hoodie, they have to worry about things like the following video happen to them. The NFL players are not protesting wealth, they are not protesting all whites. But they do see what I see, they do see that those whom are black, and are not as wealthy, those in the middle clas and poor, are not treated equally.

Now I really don't want to hear fucking shit from you. It is not enough to say, "I am not a bigot"..... You are fucking acting like it. How about you just shut your fucking mouth and prove it by LISTENING instead of pointing fingers. Otherwise you will get treated like the fucking bigot you are proving yourself to be in this thread.

This is about race, and even well off blacks, get treated like this athlete. This is what blacks are still going through, something you fucking refuse to see.

Last i checked Thump was against those too. And deflection will do you no good Ahole. Need i point out that Thump implied PEACEFUL protests. And you really wanna go for a left tit for tat violence i don't think you do . Because you would lose .

Of which the athletes did neither

Lastly i point out that it was counter violent as the Milo supporters at Berkely were armed and were threatening non Antifa protesters .

A-Theist should agree that when WHITE WOMEN like Susan B Anthony protested and GOT THE SHIT BEAT OUT OF HER, that protesting was not Anti American but saying, "Women are part of America as well".

But somehow, when blacks, rich or poor protest, or even the white college students whom support them, or the WHITE BILLIONAIRE team owners agree with them, in their right to protest, somehow that is different.

And again, how anyone can jump to the conclusion that a minority of protesters whom go too far, means that everyone protesting will. It is utter bullshit.

Understanding why humans react to abuse is the only way you can understand and that is all blacks want the rest of America to understand. Just like Susan B. Anthony was RIGHTFULLY pointing out inequality.

I agree, deflecting and pointing fingers does not solve shit. But, that is what the GOP does as a political tactic. It is sad to me that a half century later after segregation has ended, that far too many still want to stupidly believe that inequity does not exist.

And the worst part is the right is too stupid to see, that even poor rural whites and white middle America whom votes for the GOP is too stupid to see, that this is where the top 1%  want us. Distracted and divided so they can fund corporate welfare. Keep poor urban blacks, and poor rural whites pitted against each other.

Liberals would love nothing more than for coastal America, the rust belt and middle America to get along. But just like MLK knew back then, that cannot happen if the inequity that hurts minorities keeps getting ignored. The tactic of the right and top has always been, "You better watch out for that other guy". Which allows the greedy at the top to keep driving down wages, even for middle class and whites. Keep whites in fear of blacks, you can drive down their wages as well.

MLK knew this, he knew, that when minorities did better, everyone did better. So the only way for middle America to understand is to simply shut the fuck up and listen and stop ignoring the problem. MLK was not against the private sector. And for the assholes whom are bitching about black athletes making money, you cannot have it both ways. I never hear Brady's name mentioned and he is the richest player I know of, and even he called 45s comments divisive. And if the right is going to complain about the rich, the white owners are billionaires. And the last time I checked, "Billion" is still a bigger number than "million".

So this is a deflection, this is ignoring race issues.

You can be critical all you want. You enjoy the same right to free speech. But the right to free speech does not include the right to automatic agreement from your audience. Don't worry, you'll live.

As for your mischaracterization of the nature of these protests, I'll let you figure that out on your own. (Protip: Any nation which discriminated against me and my people solely because of our skin color would not be entitled to my respect, much less honor.)

Also, if you would please, dig up a quote from me extolling the violent antics of Antifa. I'll wait.

My criticism of them has been posted publicly, and equating their violent protests with the silent protests of the footballers is stupid.
