45 advocates forced ritual in NFL...
RE: 45 advocates forced ritual in NFL...
Then it is up to the team owner and the team owners are out there with their players.  Fuck the WLB.

Meanwhile, apparently desirous of demonstrating that he is just as much of a fuckhead as his boss, see what Pence came out with.

Quote:Mike Pence comes up with dumbest argument against NFL players yet, and that is saying something

Quote:According to Pence, the use of “national” in the name of the National Football League means players must stand during the national anthem. [...]

“We’ve all got a right to our opinions,” Pence told the crowd, “but I don’t think it’s too much to ask that players in the National Football League to stand for our national anthem.”

I don't think there is a single republicunt with a functioning brain cell.

"Just" a protest? No, of course it wasn't "just" a protest. It was a nation founded in order to protect the institution of slavery, by war if need be. Surely you know the difference between a nation and a protest, right?

Right?

...... I did not write a single word about the Confederacy here in this thread.
You said, "America was born in protest." But weren't those founders and leaders of the protest against Great Britain slave owners themselves? And weren't they also English citizens as well?

Why are you trying to deflect? This thread is about protest, not about the Founding Fathers.

Please try to be relevant.

The founders were not fighting the Revolutionary War on the issue of s slavery, they were fighting for independence. But what does that have to do with the fact you are being an asshole falsely claiming white persecution now?

It's what Adolf does best.  He thinks he's a poor persecuted white man.

If there's one thing I've learned about Football it's this:

You can beat your wife, murder someone, or rape someone, and they won't burn your jerseys.
You can turn a blind eye to a child molester, and someone will build a fucking statue of you.

BUT IF YOU DARE! Dare to fucking disrespect the flag by kneeling instead of standing in order to protest the murders of unarmed black people..... THEN YOUR JERSEY WILL BURN AND PEOPLE WILL QUIT WATCHING FOOTBALL ENTIRELY.

They're no more going to stop watching football than customers claim they're no longer shopping at a certain store. It's just empty threats expressed by a first amendment right in order to be catered to by a ridiculous "always right" concept.

Considering I was actually providing an example of a movement arising from protests. I was not discussing the flaws of the Founding Fathers or the rise of the Confederacy, but rather, the importance of protest to American history.

Surely the point is comprehensible to you.
