Second, a copy of some Scripture isn't going to hurt the kid. The parents, if they are doing their job and checking candy (by which my Mom meant eating about 1/3 of it ), will find it, make the choice whether to discard it, and it will be done.
I don't really see any real harm. Also. . . I presume that Ham's neighbors know who he is. Anyone who takes their kids to his house is doing so for the curiosity of seeing what crazy shit he'll do.

But sorry, you're right. That isn't the only thing the three are united on. Those three religions are also all in agreement that there should be no scantily clad sexy ladies in tv commercials. So not only are they anti-fun holidays, they are anti-boobs on top of it.
Two of my employees (English teachers) won't participate in Halloween events for some reason. They think it celebrates death-- I think it's just having fun and giving out candy.
Silly reasoning by them, but I'd give them a pass because at least they aren't acting like the students by forming an angry mob and demanding that school staff resign for not agreeing with them that dressing up in things like a poncho for example on Halloween is super racist and should not be allowed.
