-and it's not an effect of fascism when a person..as you have Neo...decides that money is more important than remaining true to the fundamentals of their beliefs. Political or religious.
The owner has decided, at the very least, that the fair price his customers give him for the products he provides was more important than a photo op with Scrotus while he signed some bill that the guy had never read and didn;t actually support.
Hindsight is 20-20, huh?

I'm not saying that people cannot do what they want with their money, just that there is a difference between being petty and socially responsible. I think people are making everything way, way too political.
The only reason I don't buy Starbucks coffee is cause I don't like Starbucks coffee. And I don't bother shopping at Hobby Lobby because they have a shitty selection of art supplies. Personally, I think don't like big corporations and companies using their businesses as platforms to raise my awareness about social issues. I don't really like charity fundraisers that rely on me buying crappy cookies or overpriced candy bars or magazine subscriptions either. Flibbity-flue.

Good for you, but people who do are fascists, in your estimation?
A fascist boycott would be when people boycott "non-native" business, or when people boycott businesses because the owners (or the product) are taken to be somehow "un-patriotic". You know, like they didn't kneel for the flag or kiss Dear Leaders Ass or they were Far Too Brown or some such bullshit.

Now, I'm not against boycotts in principle, just that a person has to weight how important (or ethical) it is, really, to want someone else to personally suffer because you disagree with their politics.
Here's the money quote:
Quote:Welcome to social activism on the Left in 2017. A guy who provides 150 local jobs and serves a popular (if eclectic) consumer niche was trying to find a way to get more affordable group health insurance for his workers. When that goal was achieved he accepted an invitation he’d never asked for to go to the White House and celebrate that achievement. And now the liberal hordes on social media are trying to shut him down. Over a photograph. Great job, guys.
Business Boycott because of Photo
Even if a conservative like me had been invited to the White House by Obama, and even if it was to watch him sign the ACA of some other law I thought was misguided, I still would have gone. I mean c'mon guys. I don't care who you are or who the current president is, it's the chance of a lifetime to stand in the presence of the 'Leader of the Free World'. Even if you don't respect the man, you should at least to respect the office. Is that really something someone should lose their livelihood over?
Aww does Chaddie-poo have a sad that he's not allowed to impose his will on the rest of us, that he's not allowed to gas us untermenschen for daring to defy his triumphant will.
Seriously, Wooters go fuck yourself with a rusty chisel, you'll be doing the world a favour.

So people are being petty for not buying from a person who clashes with everything they believe . And everything is political . And again you have yet to show how this is fascist .

It's fascist if you're religious and don't like it.

Funny thing about that, it used to be "socialism" that got slung around..but now that the far right fancy themselves a bunch of pious peaceniks working for the common good......

I have no intention of honoring President Putin with my presence. I don’t care for his appointee over in Washington.
Pretty sure Angela Merkel is leader of the free world. Putin's world isn't free at all.
