But choking... yeah... Billions of $US are poured into choking prevention every year, while those other fields go penniless.
About the same amount that goes into weapons purchases and "defense".

When is the last time any of you thought about second hand smoke? 73 deaths a year out of 24 million is something that concerns you guys? really?

Hardly, the inane concept of irreducible complexity has been discussed at length and in depth on these boards by various members. Hell, it's been officially litigated, lol. It's not a lofty subject above anyone's paygrade.

That's naive. My eldest was born with reflux issues from birth and was a high SIDS risk, so no, infants do not necessarily have it "down pat".
