I have had a lot of experiences, too many to actually remember.
I've had men fondle my genitals when I was a child, I've had men show me their genitals, I've been groped, I've had a man rub his erection on me in the subway in NYC, and I was sexually assaulted. I've been harassed and humiliated, sometimes at work.

I've never had a guy cop a feel apologize after I told him it was unwanted. I had a much older man grab me at a concert. When I made it clear I was going to kick his ass if he kept it up, he laughed at me until my guy friend turned around. I had a guy rape kiss me (this incident is the very reason I call it rape kissing) and then tell my friend later (she was his girlfriend) that I kissed him. I had a guy kiss me and then try to go for more. When I told him no, he said "It's too late for that."

All three of those "men" deserved a swift kick to the nuts, if you ask me.

If I had such deep pockets that I could afford a team of lawyers to pay them off, there is no way now that I could be tempted into this shit. When I was younger and more shy around women, I wonder if that would have been true?

I wonder how much of this behavior taps into something about our animal nature. Regardless, it isn't right and shouldn't be tolerated.

I think I am more disappointed about Franken than any of the others so far. But my reaction to any of them isn't immediately to want to throw them away as inhuman scum, even if it sometimes feels like that. I think people sometimes need a second chance but I'm glad there is a justice system in place to impose penalties. Now if we can just get it to listen to the women who do the complaining and do something with all those unexamined rape kits.

There are other incidents, but most guys who are the sort to apologize if they crossed a line are the sort to wait for an invitation.

I had a guy grab my ass at the bar once, and he had the nerve to apologize to my husband and his friend; but not me.  His excuse was that he was going through a divorce.  I've also experienced much, much worse than that as, sadly, many of us ladies here have.  I've alot to say on this whole, "what do you expect from drunk college boys anyway?" narrative.

I've actually had a couple of icky situations too myself, though much milder than what most of the wimminz could tell me. The most vivid (and worst) was at the local teenage disco (when I was about 14) being caught by a drunk young woman and being tongued for about thirty seconds to my bemusement and discomfort.
