Another thing I love to do is play my favorite game of all time... Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings.
I sometimes play it with Emjay and Shadow here from AF.
I dunno why I forgot to share this one... I woke up with it stuck in my head lol. I totally should have shared this one:
This is my second newest track.
My newest one is the 3rd track on my new album. Not uploading any of that until it's done.

I quit, when they got rid of the cash games in the U.S. Well actually quit when I lost like $500 in one hand (luckily was having a pretty good night at the time), but when I came back they closed down the cash games. Always had trouble playing the non-pay games, seemed like not too many took it seriously.
I consider that (my bolded) a challenge. For me I just want to win and I don't care whether there is any money riding on it or not. Of course, from time to time I might call out someone playing recklessly just because it isn't real money. But usually I play legit. I've been playing 100 grand games for quite a while. I've had to buy chips only a few times in the last few years. When I get low I just downsize the buy in size of the table until I make it back. Got to say, I really don't like playing those really low stake games. But that's what makes me keep it together playing funny money, the desire to avoid low stake games.

I usually play live for actual $. I used to play online for real $ before Black Friday. I haven't played live in awhile, longer for online. I get bored really fast online and do stupid shit I would never do in a live game.
I played on PokerStars, Full Tilt, Party Poker and a few others. PokerStars was my favorite.
PokerStars has become worse. You can only play 6 person tables now, no full tables. Also the randomizer will now set you anywhere on the table, not necessarily center front. Really that is just a minor annoyance.
We three and maybe a few others here should play a game there some time just for bragging rights.

Start that thread.
I don't remember ever messing up a recipe I had on paper.... it's when I try to do things from memory that I forget half the stuff
Except for Bolo de Bolacha (biscuit cake) - Whateverist knows what I'm talking about! Super easy, no baking required!
Super easy and also very popular even with my wife's foodie friends. To ramp it up just a bit I shred an expresso bean dark chocolate bar over the top. Mmmm. Want to make one right now.

Never heard of it, but I'm extremely left brained and suck at anything artsy lol.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Well, there go my suggestions. lol
I picked up the violin on a whim awhile back and took private lessons for 3 years. Most of my interests lean towards art and creativity.
Before my kid was born, when I had more spare time, I started taking Spanish classes (another whim) at a local college. In the end I took 2 years of classes.
I also did a lot of volunteer work. My favorite job was working in a Gold Rush era cemetery in downtown Sacramento. I learned a lot about plants and now I know how to prune roses.

Speaking of war models. For a while back when I was in my early teens I was into putting them together. Got the "Excato Knife" bought the glue and paint.
My BACK THEN, two favorite war machines were the Pacific Corsair which I never built. BUT I also liked the F-14 Tomcat because of it's retractable wings. I did go to the local toy store, bought a model, paint. Took days for me to complete it, BUT I painted it camouflage, only to have someone tell me while the detail was great, those fighter Jets were Marine and Navy use and would not have been painted that way.
I loved the shape of the Corsair with the blue and white and bent wings. But again, looking back at it now, for both, I see no art in our species ability to create machines designed to murder other human beings.

Somewhere in my house, is a F4U-5 Corsair which i built, many years ago. I have that, the 1936-class Zerstorer in the picture, the Tirpitz, a Panther Tank, The cruisers SMS Dresden and SMS Emden, and a BV-222 flying boat. I have yet to get into painting, due to a large fear of ruining said models.
War machines have their own, strange kind of beauty to them.
